Job Description

Job Overview A skilled Orthodontic Assistant, preferably with board certification, is needed to join our dynamic orthodontic team.
Responsibilities:
Fitting and cementing bands, taking and puring impressions, taking records, changing sani ties, placement of wires, cementation of orthodontic appliances, bonding brackets, using high and low speed handpiece for removing orthodontic composite, steel ligation of an arch, taking itero scans, placing attachments on Invisalign patients. Preparation and sterilization of instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Pouring models with stone, trimming working models, fabrication of essix clear retainers. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Be able to work in a busy envvironment, be time efficient! Practice good bedside manners. Requirements Dental/Orthodontic Assistant Certification is needed for hiring! Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant of 7+ years. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential. Ability to assist with various orthodontic procedures while demonstrating excellent patient care skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR is a plus. Certification of Dental/Orthodontic Assistant is needed for hiring. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
