We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates and are willing to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping create a smooth, comfortable experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and seat patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience Prepare patients for treatments and procedures Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and office protocols Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory Perform lab tasks as needed Assist with scheduling and maintaining accurate patient records Support front desk duties and basic payment processing when needed
Qualifications:
Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures Understanding of infection control and safety protocols Ability to perform expanded duties (e.g., coronal polishing) is a plus Strong computer and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume setting Dependable, team-oriented, and professional High school diploma required; dental assisting certification or EFDA is a plus
