In this vital role, you will assist the oral pathologist during procedures, help manage patient records in paper charts, and ensure the clinic maintains the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your knowledge in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental instruments, and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order according to aseptic techniques. Assist during various procedures. Take digital dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Monitor vital signs of patients before treatments and assist with chairside assisting to ensure patient comfort throughout procedures. Maintain infection control standards by following strict sterilization protocols and proper handling of dental supplies. Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records with attention to detail. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices. Certification in X-ray safety and proficiency in taking intraoral and panoramic images. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy. Ability to perform chairside assisting using aseptic techniques while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
