Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and be a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth workflow within a busy dental clinic. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their dental experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are followed Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging equipment Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic to document patient information accurately Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Monitor vital signs and assist in medical documentation to ensure patient safety during procedures Support administrative tasks like scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and acting as a dental receptionist when needed Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency with Dentrix, or familiarity with medical coding and records management, is preferred Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety Ability to operate dental radiography equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners, confidently Knowledge of pediatric dentistry procedures and experience working with children is a plus Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages Certification or training in dental assisting, including chairside assisting skills and medical terminology knowledge Join us to make a difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and technical excellence. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
