Job Description

Orthodontic Assistant We are a well-established orthodontic practice seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in our Wading River & Eastport offices. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient appointments Perform o-tie removal and placement Perform wire changes Take orthodontic records (including photos, radiographs and iTero scans) Educate patients on oral hygiene, diet restrictions and proper wear and care of orthodontic appliances Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols Support the clinical team in providing a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred (2+ years strongly preferred) Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred Dental Hygienists with orthodontic experience welcome to apply Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work well in a team environment
Compensation:
