Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient care, assisting the dentist, setting up the operatories, sterilizing instruments and front desk duties as needed. This role is important in maintaining the efficiency of our practice and providing exceptional service to our patients.
NO JOB AGENCIES
•Training will be provided for those without experience but interest in the dental field required. •Schedule Requirements Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Fridays 9 am - 3pm Saturdays 1-2x per month Mondays closed Responsibilities Set up the dental operatory and seat patients. Take x-rays for patients using digital radiography. Assist the doctor during dental procedures. Disinfect the rooms using OSHA guidelines and sterilize instruments. Take inventory and re-stock supplies weekly. Front desk duties if needed. Skills Understanding of dental terminology relevant to dental practices. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff in a fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking between assisting, operatory setups/breakdowns and sterilization. Detail-oriented with friendly mannerism to assist in patient care.
