This role combines essential clinical support with front desk administrative duties, ensuring a seamless patient experience from appointment scheduling to treatment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient service. You will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations while providing compassionate care and support to our patients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a professional dental environment committed to excellence. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software - Dentrix Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and ensuring patient comfort with dental terminology and care plans Handle patient intake, update medical records, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, schedule appointments, and respond promptly to patient inquiries Maintain accurate dental records and ensure HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Support medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry with 10 key typing skills, and managing electronic health records (EHR systems) Assist with office management duties including filing, documentation review, and supporting clinic operations to ensure a smooth workflow Experience Previous clinic or dental office experience is required, with familiarity in dental terminology. Proven experience using Dentrix (willing to train) Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and proficiency in using Dentrix Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence in a healthcare setting Clerical experience supporting front desk operations including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical billing processes Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management standards is critical for maintaining confidentiality and compliance Experience working in hospital or clinic environments will be considered an asset for this role Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a fast-paced dental practice.
