Job Description

Join our great dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic position, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure a smooth workflow, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will help us maintain the highest standards of dental health and patient satisfaction. If you're passionate about oral health and eager to grow your skills in a fast-paced setting, this is the perfect opportunity for you! We are open 4 days a week! Looking for a candidate for 2-4 days. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring accurate positioning and patient comfort. Experience with Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance for confidentiality. Provide excellent dental reception services by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and verifying insurance information. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging to support comprehensive patient assessments. Support four-handed dentistry practices to maximize efficiency and reduce procedure time. Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care instructions, and preventive oral health practices. Inventory and ordering Communicating and following up with dental labs Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, medical documentation, and medical coding. Experience with Dentrix- preferred not mandatory. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Familiarity with dental terminology. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners with precision (must of radiography license). Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures and medical terminology for accurate documentation.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
