Job description Dental Assistant - McCormack Dental Group (Columbus, OH) At McCormack Dental Group, we don't just fix teeth — we change lives. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is not just clinically skilled, but who brings energy, awareness, and heart into every room. Responsibilities Assist the doctor in a wide range of procedures (restorative, surgical, implant, and cosmetic cases) Prepare and break down operatories efficiently and thoroughly Take high-quality digital x-rays and intraoral scans Anticipate doctor needs and stay two steps ahead during procedures Ensure a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment Support patient experience by creating comfort, confidence, and clarity Communicate clearly with both clinical and front office teams for seamless patient flow What We're Looking For Dental assisting experience (preferred) Strong organization and time-management skills in a fast-paced clinical environment Positive energy and a team-first mindset Healthy communication skills with both patients and team members A growth mindset — always looking to improve, learn, and level up
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with CAD/CAM dentistry and same-day crown workflows Familiarity with CEREC scanning, design, and milling systems Experience assisting with implant placement and restoration Knowledge of hybrid dentures / full-arch implant prosthetics Experience with removable appliances including partials, night guards, and retainers Familiarity with root canal procedures and surgical extractions Ability to fabricate temporary crowns Experience managing lab cases and tracking restorative workflows Familiarity with digital imaging, intraoral scanners, and dental software systems Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) 401(k) Profit sharing opportunities Paid time off Ongoing training and development Final ThoughtWe are not looking for someone to just fill a position.
