We are a comprehensive dental office that treats each patient like family! The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support, patient care, and helping the patient understand why treatment is a priority. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services by supporting dentists and ensuring a smooth, efficient clinic operation. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary equipment such as X-ray machines and organizing dental supplies. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate positioning and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of medical documentation. Support administrative tasks including dental reception duties, appointment scheduling, and maintaining organized medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and the importance of routine dental visits. Collaborate effectively with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques. Experience with X-ray procedures. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining a positive patient experience. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external healthcare providers.

From $22.00 per hour
