Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a thriving dental clinic. The ideal candidate should have experience in assisting with various dental procedures, particularly in Pediatrics and Pediatric Dentistry. Familiarity with Open dental software and proficiency in medical imaging will be advantageous.Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and supplies for use
- Take and record patients' vital signs to ensure their safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical record documentation
- Provide support to dentists in general dentistry procedures as well as specialized Pediatric Dentistry treatments
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic setting
- Proficiency in Open dental software is preferred
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with Pediatrics and Pediatric Dentistry practices
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently
