Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team. This full- time opportunity is scheduled to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, from 6:30am until 3:00pm) at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, OH . This dental assistant position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers full benefits which include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account. NO late nights or weekends are required for this position! Compensation is competitive at $19 plus per hour. There is also currently a $1000 sign- on bonus available for this position. Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Duties:

This position will include both administrative and routine chairside duties that include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. Very limited endo, with NO ortho or crown & bridge required. This position will have more focus on administrative duties. Administrative duties are required for this position, and you will be trained in this area.

Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Qualifications:

1 year experience is strongly preferred and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers and Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license required. •Per ODRC policy, this facility is a smoke-free facility.•
