About the Role As our Dental Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our clinical team, working closely with our dentist to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting during dental procedures: Preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments and materials to the dentist during various procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.).

Patient care and comfort:

Greeting patients, taking and updating medical histories, explaining procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.

Radiography:

Taking and developing dental X-rays (digital preferred).

Infection control:

Adhering strictly to sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Maintaining accurate records:

Charting patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Inventory and stocking:

Assisting with managing dental supplies and ensuring treatment rooms are well-stocked.

Educating patients:

Providing post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education. What We're Looking For We're seeking a dedicated individual who possesses: EFDA License (required) Current Ohio Dental Radiographer license (required). Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
