Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing clinical support in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical administrative tasks, knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and excellent customer service skills. Serious applicants only. Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental scheduling software
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
• Collect patient information and update electronic health records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical and lab areas
• Assist with flipping operatories and sterilization
• Provide support to dental providers and staff as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
• Radiographer License required
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
• Experience with dental office software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
