Job Description

About us Our friendly family dental office is a welcoming and comfortable environment where patients of all ages can receive high-quality dental care. The staff is friendly and approachable, and they take the time to explain procedures and answer any questions that patients may have. The office is clean and well-maintained, with a relaxed atmosphere that helps to put patients at ease. The dentist is experienced and knowledgeable, and they use the latest technology and techniques to provide the best possible care. The office also offers a wide range of services, including regular check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorative treatments. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for chairside assisting, set up and sterilization, and a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome patients to the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate electronic patient records
Skills:
Radiology license mandatory Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as a dental assistant in a similar a role preferred but not required Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Physical Requirements:
