Your Role:
As a Dental Assistant at the Good Shepherd, you will be an integral part of our patient care team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Exceptional Customer Service:
Greet patients, address concerns, and guide them between waiting rooms and operatories. Patient Care within
Scope of Practice:
Take and develop dental x-rays, tend to patient needs, assist the dentist during procedures, and update patient records including medications and medical history. Operatory /
Treatment Preparation:
Sanitize and prepare operatories between patient encounters and set up instruments and equipment for treatments. Sterilization /
Instrument Care Management:
Sanitize and sterilize equipment and instruments as appropriate.
EHR Documentation:
Accurately document patient information and procedures in electronic health records.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Registered Dental Assistant license in the State of Oklahoma. Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
