In this role, you will support our dental professionals by assisting with patient care, ensuring infection control protocols, and maintaining smooth clinic operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy dental practice while contributing to patient comfort and safety. Our practice focuses on delivering comprehensive dental services tailored to meet the needs of patients of all ages. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry while ensuring efficient workflow. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental for procedures, and arranging necessary supplies in accordance with aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and dental imaging equipment. Manage patient records by updating documentation and records in Eaglesoft. Support patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures using dental terminology, and chairside assisting during treatments. Maintain infection control standards by following strict sterilization protocols and ensuring the clinic's compliance with OSHA guidelines. Collaborate seamlessly with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to provide efficient and comfortable patient experiences. Skills Proficiency with dental software like Eaglesoft, for managing records and documentation. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security. Experience with dental radiography including X-ray procedures and use of 3D scanners for advanced imaging. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently with restorative procedures. Excellent communication skills and attention to patient comfort.
