Our privately owned, and managed dental practice in Medford, OR, is seeking a friendly and energetic Dental Assistant to help us care for our wonderful patients. Ensure patients are comfortable in the dental chair and properly prepared for treatment. Work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Take dental X-rays. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials. Hand instruments and materials to dentists during procedures. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental clinic environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.Who We're Looking For:
Availability:
Able to work shifts between Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m- 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m
- 1:00 p.
Licensure/Certification:
Oregon EFDA or Radiology certificate OR currently in the process of completing requirements.Professional Skills and Competencies:
Organized with strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. A willingness and ability to learn quickly. Ability to multitask while effectively managing time and priorities. Self-starter with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Dependable, demonstrating reliability and a high level of professionalism. Preferred, but not required: At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant. Working knowledge of Open Dental.
