Dental Assistant Timber Dental - 2.8 Portland, OR Job Details Full-time 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Customer communication Dental x-ray Full Job Description Description Timber Dental is seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside, values efficiency, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a team-oriented environment. Schedule Full-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview process. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience required X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements) Current CPR/BLS certification required EFDA certification preferred (if applicable) Strong clinical and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Benefits Medical and Vision Insurance PTO 401k Matching About Timber Dental We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
