Full Job Description Overview:
Our modern and fun dental office in Portland wants to add an Expanded Function Dental Assistant! We're looking for someone as passionate about dentistry as we are, who can provide the best patient care and have fun while doing it! City Dental utilizes the latest technology and fosters a supportive team atmosphere. We want every staff member to feel like they're contributing to our success. Our professional, friendly, and easygoing dentists and team are committed to helping you grow as a dental assistant, personally and professionally!
Compensation:
$25-32 per hour, based on experience Schedule Full-time Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am-5:00 pm Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance PTO and paid holidays Short and long-term disability coverage Traditional and Roth 401(k) options Paid parking provided Monthly team meetings with provided lunches Qualifications/Responsibilities 2+ years of prior hands-on dental assisting experience is highly preferred X-ray certification is required EFDA experience is preferred Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Provide excellent patient care with a warm and welcoming attitude Prepare patient for treatment and checkup with an emphasis on patient comfort Help prep and clean the office and treatment rooms Assist the doctor during dental procedures Verify patient health history and document in their file while maintaining patient confidentiality Taking X-rays Assist with other practice needs as requested
