Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring patient comfort. If you are a motivated individual with strong dental assisting skills and a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you. New dental assistants are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Skills:
  • Proficient in dental terminology
  • Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
  • Experience with Dentrix preferred or similar dental practice management software
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations
  • Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Skilled in aseptic technique to ensure infection control protocols are followed
  • Experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus
  • Competent in taking dental x-rays
  • Proficient in charting We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
