Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist in providing high-quality orthodontic care to patients
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging as directed by the orthodontist
  • Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
  • Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Skills:
  • EFODA
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments
  • Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assistance during procedures
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Excellent patient assessment skills, including identifying potential issues or concerns
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
