Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Float Dental Assistant to support our Moon Township office , with flexibility to assist at our other locations as scheduling needs demand. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn , working closely with our doctors to provide advanced endodontic care and a welcoming patient experience. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and values both professional excellence and workplace camaraderie. Key Responsibilities Assist doctors during endodontic procedures with efficiency, precision, and professionalism. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and infection-control protocols. Capture and process digital dental radiographs (X-rays) according to practice standards. Support patient management by providing clear communication, comfort, and post-treatment education. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice's electronic dental software. Monitor inventory and ensure operatories are fully stocked and ready for use. Collaborate with team members and float across offices as needed to support consistent, high-quality patient care. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred , but not required•we are willing to train the right candidate! Current X-ray certification strongly preferred; must be obtained within 3 months of employment if not already certified. Computer literacy and the ability to learn dental software systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first mindset. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Must meet all standard work clearances prior to employment. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between offices.
Schedule Full-Time:
Monday•Friday 7:30 AM•4:00 PM , depending on patient flow No evenings, weekends, or holidays
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
