Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Responsibilities :

Room patient, take vitals, and document patient history Take x-rays as directed Assist dentist in transfer of instruments, suctioning, etc. Placing of fillings, polishing restorations & approved EFDA functions Apply sealants and fluoride as directed Coordinate prosthetic appointments with lab & provide Assist and work with other dental clinic employees as necessary Monitor inventory levels of supplies, and advise when replenishment is necessary Other duties as assigned
