Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. If you love working with children and are committed to providing a positive, "fear-free" dental experience, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities Clinical Support:
Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric procedures, including restorative treatments, extractions, sedations, and exams.
Patient Care:
Comfort and guide young patients through their appointments using child-friendly language and "tell-show-do" techniques.
Radiography:
Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos as needed.
Charting:
Maintain accurate, real-time patient records and treatment plans within our practice management software.
Sterilization & Safety Duties Instrument Processing:
Perform rigorous sterilization and disinfection of all dental instruments following CDC and OSHA guidelines.
Room Turnover:
Clean and prep operatory rooms between patients to maintain a sterile and efficient clinical environment.
Equipment Maintenance:
Monitor and run weekly spore tests on autoclaves and ensure all clinical equipment is functioning safely.
Infection Control:
Adhere strictly to universal precautions and PPE requirements to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. Qualifications Current Dental Assistant Certification (as required by state law). Radiology certification. Active CPR/BLS certification. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude!

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
