Anchorage Job Type:
Full-time, 28hr-30hr per week, Tuesday Thru Friday 8am-4pm with hour lunch at noon.

We are hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join our long-standing, supportive dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Assistant seeking long-term employment in a stable, supportive, positive work environment. Most of our staff have been with us for 10+ years, and we value teamwork, reliability, and excellent patient care. The ideal Dental Assistant is detail-oriented, organized, 1+ years experience in chairside assisting, but willing to train the right person. Four-handed dentistry. Hospital or credentialed experience is preferred, but not required.—we can assist with hospital credentialing after hire.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities :
Prepare patients for dental treatment and ensure comfort Perform chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry Set up dental instruments, materials, and equipment Take dental X-rays, impressions, and patient records Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Sterilize instruments following infection control and safety regulations Maintain clean, stocked, and organized treatment rooms Assist with dental lab tasks as needed Schedule appointments and assist with front office duties Update electronic dental records (Dentrix preferred)
Dental Assistant Qualifications:
1+ year of dental assisting experience required. Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control Ability to take X-rays and impressions for crown and bridge Strong computer skills; Dentrix experience preferred Excellent communication and patient care skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented High school diploma required Dental assistant school completion preferred Additional certifications or training a plus
