Job Description

Job description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our family dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and will assist in various dental procedures while ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. This role is vital in supporting our dentists and enhancing the overall efficiency of our practice.
Duties:
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.

Manage patient records using dental software such as Eagelsoft ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote better health outcomes.

Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling dental coding as needed.

Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients, helping them feel at ease during their visits.

Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry.

ExperiencePrevious experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.

Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable.

Knowledge of infection control standards.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
