JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES INCLUDE

(but not limited to): Previous experience as an Orthodontic Clinical Assistant with a strong foundation in dental and orthodontic knowledge. Familiarity with self-ligating brackets welcome. Communicating with patients regarding treatments and oral hygiene Charting of patient information Taking digital radiographs Intraoral 3D scans Assisting with orthodontic adjustments Preparing teeth for bonding and de-bonding Assisting in the placement and removal of appliances Sterilizing instruments and operatories Encouraging, educating, and motivating patients to follow the recommendations of the Doctor Fixed retainer fabrication and cementation Bracket/band set-up/placement
