Pediatric Dental Assistant

We are a family-centered, modern office looking for sunny and bubbly team members to help deliver exceptional care to our patients. We are looking for team members that can help us create positive and memorable experiences in a fun and child friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome families and children in a friendly and professional manner Verify patient health information and provide proper documentation of findings and treatment notes Sterilization of dental instruments/equipment, setup of clinical operatories, and take diagnostic patient imaging Communicate thoughtfully to facilitate parent understanding of their child's treatment needs Assist pediatric dentist during examinations and treatment procedures

Qualifications:

Certification or associate degree from an accredited dental assistant program X-ray certification preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods Experience in Pediatric Dentistry and passion for helping children Familiarity with Open Dental software systems for scheduling and record keeping Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Join our dynamic team where you can grow your skills in a supportive environment while providing exceptional care to our patients.
