Dental Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in our growing multi-provider and family-owned practice. We strive to foster an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness for our patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of dental care. Pay will be based on experience. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Review of health history, X-Rays, CT Scans, intraoral photos, and dental charting. Counseling patients about important oral hygiene steps for maintaining their health (brushing, flossing, etc.). Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories using electronic health record systems Qualifications Previous experience is preferred but not necessary. Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with infection control standards and practices.
