Journey Orthodontics is looking for an outgoing and energetic Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team! Our Orthodontic Assistants are essential members of our Journey Orthodontics team. The successful candidate will be extroverted, confident, self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the Orthodontic Assistant include, but are not limited to: Bring a positive attitude to the team each day Instill confidence and energy in teammates and our patients Chairside assisting and hands on patient care Welcome new patients to the Journey Orthodontic family Take X-rays, cone beam images, intraoral photographs, scans and impressions Utilize technology to monitor and communicate with patients and parents Preferred experience and skills needed for the Orthodontic Assistant position: Dental office experience highly preferred, but not required Radiology certification (preferred but not required) Willing to learn and grow Ability to use and learn computer software programs as needed.
