Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others and love the idea of supporting patients on their journey to whole-body wellness? Our holistic dental practice is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, organized, and caring Full-Time Dental Business Assistant to join our team! We're a high-volume practice that serves a community of patients who value natural and toxin-free dental care. Our focus is on biocompatibility, detoxification, and natural oral care solutions, and we take pride in providing an exceptional experience that supports our patients' overall health. To thrive in this role, you'll need at least one year of experience in a dental office, specifically with verifying insurance, understanding EOB's, presenting treatment plans, along with strong skills in patient relations, scheduling, and dental terminology. Knowledge of dental software is required, and Eaglesoft experience is a plus . Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a heart for patient care. Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in a high-paced dental office (required) Excellent communication and customer service skills Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-moving environment Open-minded and supportive of holistic/biological dentistry Positive, team-oriented attitude
Schedule Office Hours:
Mon -Thur 7:30 am-5pm, Fri 8am-1pm (2 Friday's /month)
Morning Huddle:
7:45 AM (mandatory) Punctuality and preparedness are essential to our success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and check-in patients, update all necessary patient information and verify insurance. Have knowledge with insurance verifications and claims. Answer phones, maintain schedules, answer inquiries about procedures, cost, and insurance. Check out patients, collect out-of-pocket cost, and schedule next visits. Confirm appointments, communicate with patients via phone, email and text message utilizing Patient Management software. Present treatment plans to patients, effectively communicate financing options and insurance benefits coverage. Respond to records requests appropriately and in a timely manner. Contact patients to schedule outstanding or overdue treatment. Must have the ability to multi-task and handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment. Must have a positive, can-do attitude!
