Job Description
Thrive Dental Assistant School is seeking a passionate and reliable Dental Assistant Instructor to help train the next generation of dental assistants in our accelerated 12-week program. This position is ideal for an experienced dental assistant who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students in a supportive learning environment. Our program combines classroom instruction with simulation-based hands-on training hosted in local dental offices. No live patient care is involved during instruction. Responsibilities Teach dental assisting fundamentals and chairside procedures Demonstrate proper infection control and operatory setup Assist students with instrument identification and dental terminology Support students during simulation-based lab activities Track attendance and student progress Create a positive and professional classroom environment Prepare students for entry-level dental assisting careers Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred Dental assisting certification preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Friendly, professional, and dependable Passion for education and mentoring Ability to teach hands-on clinical skills in a classroom setting Schedule Part-Time Saturdays Possible additional weekday opportunities in the future About Thrive Dental Assistant School Thrive Dental Assistant School is focused on helping students gain real-world dental assisting knowledge through supportive instruction, practical training, and career readiness preparation.
