Our Dental Assistants provide great patient care and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Duties:
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to develop personalized care plans. Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Take medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Support infection control standards by sterilizing instruments, managing medical waste, and ensuring a clean clinical environment in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Skills Proficiency with dental software systems for documentation review and appointment scheduling. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding to accurately document procedures. Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-focused patient care to effectively serve young patients. Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on general dentistry procedures, including patient care and patient assessment. Excellent understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic setting. Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical records. Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference!
