Dental Hygiene Assistant Clinica Dental La Paz Nashville, TN Job Details Part-time | Full-time $12 - $18 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Patient resuscitation Spanish Customer communication In-person customer service English Dental terminology Patient interaction First aid and CPR Full Job Description At La Paz Dental Clinic, we work every day to provide our patients with a quality dental experience in a professional, friendly, and welcoming environment. We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Dental Assistant to join our team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be someone with clinical and administrative skills, a commitment to service, and enthusiasm for supporting both patients and the dental team.
Main responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments. Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials. Sterilize equipment following safety protocols. Prepare patients and ensure they feel comfortable before and during procedures. Assist with basic administrative tasks when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year, preferred). Current certification or license as a Dental Assistant in Tennessee (if applicable). Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards patients. Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of CPR/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Preferable bilingual (Spanish/English)
