Job Description

Overview Sevierville Dental is seeking a dependable, motivated, and patient focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide chairside support to the dentist, ensure a positive patient experience, and help maintain efficient clinical operations. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures with precision and professionalism Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are ready for each appointment Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Take dental X-rays as directed Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Record patient medical histories and update charts accurately Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized medical records Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensed in the state of TN Radiology certification CPR/BLS certification Strong knowledge of dental procedures, dental terminology, instruments, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off, sick time, holidays Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.
