Job Description

Dental Assistant Abilene, TX Schedule:
M-Th:
8am to 4:40pm,
Fri:
8am to 12pm
Compensation:
$20 per hour, DOE - PLUS bonuses!
Benefits:

Job Summary:
The Dental Assistant supports the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care and ensures the dental office runs efficiently. This role involves assisting during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Dentist during dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures Take dental X-rays Provide patient education and post-operative care
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Completion of an accredited dental assistant program (preferred) Registered Dental Assistant License 1-2 of chairside experience (preferred) General computer skills Familiarity with dental terminology and dental procedures Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outgoing personality Attention to detail and organization Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental software Dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records (Preferred)
Work Environment:
Clinical setting within a dental office Requires standing for extended periods and use of dental equipment May involve exposure to bodily fluids and strict adherence to safety protocols Apply TODAY and keep our community smiling!
