Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready for use. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, applying topical anesthetics, and assisting with endodontic treatments. Maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and infection control. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, including updating medical history and treatment plans. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing billing through medical coding. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and general dentistry practices. Familiarity with endodontics and the ability to assist in various dental procedures. Proficient in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for patient management. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
