Experienced Orthodontic Assistant Multiple Locations - 38th Street, Avery Ranch, Lakeway and Liberty Hill At Ortho 360, we're more than an orthodontic practice, we're a team that's passionate about creating confident smiles and exceptional patient experiences. With multiple locations throughout the Austin area, we are growing fast and looking for skilled, dependable, and enthusiastic team members to grow with us. We're currently seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. If you're professional, punctual, detail-oriented, and truly enjoy helping others, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Assistant at Ortho 360, you'll play a vital role in supporting our doctors and ensuring each patient receives high-quality, comfortable care. You'll be a key part of the patient experience from start to finish, handling everything from setup to education to follow-up.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting doctors during procedures and ensuring they have everything they need for efficient patient care Preparing for patient days by sterilizing instruments, creating adjustment trays, and reviewing patient charts Taking X-rays, intraoral photos, and iTero scans for Invisalign or impressions for retainers and appliances Placing and removing brackets, wires, bands, and appliances Fabricating retainers, including pouring stone models and forming Essix retainers Maintaining a clean and organized work area following OSHA standards Educating patients and parents about oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions Charting accurately and maintaining patient records Assisting with scheduling and general support for your teammates when needed Following and completing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and sterilization checklists
What We're Looking For Required:
At least 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Texas Willingness to travel between our locations (Moulton,38th Street, Avery Ranch, Lakeway) - travel reimbursement provided A team-oriented mindset and a strong sense of responsibility
Preferred:
