No prior Oral surgery experience necessary. New grads are encouraged to apply. As an oral surgery assistant with our practice, you will be responsible for assisting our oral surgeons in delivering quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment, have a "can do" attitude, positive outgoing personality, and be able to remain poised under pressure paying attention to detail in a fast paced environment. Essential Responsibilities:
Understand and demonstrate proper sterilization, biohazard and infection control procedures in compliance with protocol. Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, maintenance, and proper tray setups. Perform all assisting during procedures efficiently. Properly take radiographs. Efficiently direct patient flow through teamwork and communication. Responsible for stocking treatment areas and rooms with inventory. Uphold a positive rapport with staff members, doctors and patients at all times. Ability to identify and follow through with tasks and able to multi task Experienced in anesthesia protocols and emergency preparedness Oral Surgery experience preferred but not mandatory. Will train the right candidate Current RDA certified Fluent in
