Job Overview We are seeking an eager and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you will support dentists and hygienists chairside, manage patient flow, and help create a welcoming environment for children and families. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position with opportunities to learn advanced pediatric and orthodontic techniques. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up trays Assist chairside during pediatric, orthodontic, and restorative procedures Perform four-handed dentistry to support efficiency and patient comfort Take dental X-rays and digital scans (training provided) Document medical history, vital signs, and treatment notes in EMR Educate parents/patients on procedures, post-op instructions, and oral hygiene Maintain infection control and OSHA standards Support appointment scheduling and check-in/check-out when needed Communicate with empathy to help children feel safe and confident Collaborate with rotating doctors and teammates across multiple locations Skills & Qualifications Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (Required) CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with EMR systems ( Dolphin, Ascend, etc.) Familiarity with digital imaging and 3D scanning (preferred; training available) Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques Ability to assist with pediatric patient management Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience in orthodontics is a plus (not required) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Monday-Friday schedule — no weekends Hands-on training in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics Growth and cross-training opportunities Supportive, family-focused culture Modern technology and digital workflows
