The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective chairside assisting. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on visits as a dental receptionist. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Proficient in using EMR systems Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Ability to perform imaging tasks using 3D scanners when necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multitask effectively in a busy clinic setting. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.
