The ideal candidate will support our dental team in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, including those requiring general and pediatric dentistry. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow within the office and maintaining a positive patient experience.

Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments. Prepare and organize instruments and materials needed for dental procedures. Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment. Take and record vital signs of patients as necessary. Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft, including medical coding when required. Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and equipment. Support the front office with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as needed. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties being advantageous.
WILL TRAIN ON THE JOB IF NECESSARY. WANT SOMEONE WHO SHOWS INITIATIVE.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and the ability to perform basic medical coding is essential. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, showcasing an ability to engage effectively with children in a clinical setting. Proficiency in using dental software systems like Eaglesoft or Open Dental will be beneficial for managing patient records efficiently.
