As an RDA, you will assist with chairside procedures, manage patient records, and ensure infection control standards are maintained, all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages. Your expertise will contribute to creating healthy smiles and positive experiences for every patient. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control compliance Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing efficient chairside support Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including 3D scans, ensuring accurate positioning and patient comfort Manage patient medical records and documentation using Archy PMS Collect vital signs and medical history information to assist in treatment planning and ensure patient health safety Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow within the clinic Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA standards Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the applicable state or region Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix, Open Dental, Curve, or Epic for medical documentation and records management Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology Experience with dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various procedures across general dentistry disciplines including pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and Non IV conscious sedations Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients and team members while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to enhancing oral health through compassionate care!
