About Us:
We are seeking a full time bilingual Registered Dental Assistant for our small family owned dental practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, focus on supporting the dentist, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, and ensuring patient comfort. We are a high-level pediatric dental practice focused on delivering exceptional care to children both in-office and in the hospital setting. Our team operates with precision, efficiency, and a strong culture of ownership. We treat pediatric patients, including those requiring treatment under general anesthesia in the hospital. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a structured, high-performance environment. We are seeking a full-time pediatric dental assistant who is comfortable working with children and can transition between fast-paced clinical days in-office and early-morning hospital/OR cases under general anesthesia.
In-Office Clinical Duties:
Prepare treatment rooms and review patient charts before the doctor enters Have x-rays, treatment plans, and materials ready in advance Assist efficiently during restorative procedures, sealants, and exams Anticipate doctor needs (lighting, instruments, materials) without being asked Maintain strong patient flow and minimize downtime between procedures Help identify treatment opportunities (e.g., sealants) and communicate with team Hospital /
OR Responsibilities:
Assist during pediatric dental cases performed under general anesthesia Arrive early and ensure complete setup and readiness for first case Prepare instruments, materials, and documentation for multiple cases Coordinate with anesthesiologists, hospital staff, and surgical teams Maintain strict attention to sterility, organization, and efficiency Help ensure cases start on time and run smoothly throughout the day
What We're Looking For:
Experience in pediatric dentistry strongly preferred Comfortable working with children, including anxious or special needs patients Ability to work in a hospital/OR environment (experience preferred but we can train the right person) Highly organized and able to think 2-3 steps ahead Team-oriented but able to take ownership of responsibilities Strong communication and professionalism with parents and staff Willingness to follow structured systems and improve efficiency
Work Schedule:
Full-time position Mix of office clinical days + scheduled hospital/OR days Early mornings required on OR days
