Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant with at least two years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care while supporting the clinical team. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help us deliver top-quality dental services in a friendly and professional environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Proficient in dental radiographs (X-ray) and scans. Manage patient records through Open Dental, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments. Maintain a thorough understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and documentation to ensure precise communication and record-keeping. Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures tailored for pediatric patients when applicable. Requirements Minimum of two years of experience as a RDA in a busy dental clinic setting. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and support the dental team. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
