Hygiene Department Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

This position is from Wednesday-Sunday; off Monday's and Tuesday's. If you cannot work weekends, please refrain from applying for the position.

MUST BE A REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

• New Hire would be placed in our Hygiene Dept.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental hygiene exam
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental x-rays
• Assist the dental hygienist as needed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

Requirements:

• Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Proficiency in using dental software, such as Open Dental
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Skilled in dental assisting procedures, including chairside assistance and instrument handling
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team.
