Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Website link : https://soldentistry.com Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging as needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and office inventory. Perform basic laboratory tasks, including making impressions and fabricating temporary crowns. Monitor vital signs as necessary during procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical coding, and office management software such as Curve Dental. Knowledge of X-ray techniques and medical imaging practices. Experience in pediatrics or prosthodontics is a plus. Ability to follow strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental assisting is an advantage.
