In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient comfort, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, supportive clinic dedicated to excellence in dental health. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontic dentistry. Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging Manage patient records accurately using Eaglesoft, including updating medical documentation and coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations Conduct vital signs assessments and monitor patient well-being throughout treatments Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices using clear dental terminology Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and managing medical records efficiently Experience 1 year experience working as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry preferred Registered Dental Assisting Certification required Familiarity with dental assisting procedures including four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting techniques Knowledge of infection control protocols, sterilization processes, and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation Experience taking X-rays, including digital radiography and 3D scanner technology for comprehensive diagnostics Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dental care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent patient service skills Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional dental care!
