Our growing private dental practice is searching for an experienced Dental Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career and become our Clinical Lead Dental Assistant . This is not a position for someone looking to simply clock in and clock out. We are looking for a motivated leader who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a team environment, takes ownership, and is excited to help lead a successful 5-year practice into its next phase of growth. We have built an amazing team and culture, and while we've had talented team members along the way, we are still searching for the right person who is ready to fully embrace this leadership opportunity. What You'll Be Responsible For Clinical Leadership Direct and maintain efficient clinical flow throughout the day Help keep providers, assistants, hygienists, and patients on schedule Facilitate communication between the clinical and administrative teams Work closely with the doctor and office manager to improve systems and efficiency Help train, mentor, and support clinical team members Team Development Conduct quarterly assessments and coaching meetings with clinical team members Assist with accountability and performance development Help create a positive, growth-oriented culture Encourage teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement Operations & Inventory Management Take ownership of clinical supply ordering Monitor and manage supply budgets responsibly Identify opportunities to reduce waste while maintaining excellent patient care Help ensure resources are available for both patients and team members Practice Growth Assist in implementing new systems and processes Help maintain consistency and accountability within the clinical team Support practice initiatives designed to improve patient experience and growth Be willing to step up when additional leadership support is needed Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Has dental assisting experience Is ready for a leadership role Takes accountability without making excuses Is dependable and reliable Maintains a positive attitude, even during busy days Communicates professionally and respectfully Is solution-oriented rather than problem-focused Supports teammates and contributes to a healthy culture Is coachable and open to feedback Wants professional growth rather than stagnation Is passionate about helping patients receive excellent care Understands that leadership means setting the example for others Who This Position Is NOT For This role is likely not a fit for someone who: Becomes defensive when receiving feedback Frequently contributes negativity to the workplace Struggles with accountability Prefers to avoid leadership responsibilities Is not interested in personal or professional growth What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability PTO Paid holidays Leadership growth opportunities Performance incentives Special bonus program tied to budgeting performance and loyalty Supportive doctor and management team Opportunity to help shape the future of a thriving practice If you're an experienced dental assistant who wants more than just a job—and you're ready to become a leader who helps drive growth, culture, and patient care excellence—we would love to meet you.
